SLOT CLUBS IN TBILISI

IN Georgia especially in Tbilisi there are many slot clubs. In spite of today’s economic crisis in GEORGIA there number grows more and more.. Despite of small private slot clubs in TBILISI there are big nets of them. One of them is LAS VEGGAS, which branches are almost in Avery district of Tbilisi.
The manager one of the net SALOME MEKOKISHVILI said that they have 20 branches in Tbilisi. From here three is big and seventeen small. There are employed 300 person, with security,”-said SALOME. The plural wages of this person are 250 lari. The income from one branch of this big net hesitated from 50 000 to 70 000 lari in a month.
NINO BALIAURI one of the person of the branch, which is on VAJA PSHAVELA street said that she is working as an operator two year in LAS VEGGAS. “I am contented of my job, but I must say that this is a very difficult and tiresome work, we must be always in uniform”-said NINO BALIAURI. She said that they have special forms which are sewed especially for them. “We must wear short black dress, white shirt with waistcoat and the shoes with high heel,”-said BALIAURI.
The net of LAS VEGGAS is most popular then other slot clubs. It has many gamblers, who can play all day long indefatigable
For someone to play poker is to kill his/her time, for someone it’s hobby or order of life, for others it is only entertainment. But can this entertainment become in a bad habit? Which can ruin and change your life almost?
One of the gamblers who don’t want to say his name said that slot club ruined his life. “I began to play poker five years ago had my own slot club, perfect family, friends but now I am alone.”-said unknown gambler. In spite of having his own business it did not contented and he began to play in other slot clubs. “I was fallen ill of playing poker, it was my life,”-he said. He goes so far that he lost his own slot club. The reason is his bad habit -“PLAYING POKER”“I lost everything my business, family, friends and I know that it is my guilt,”-said GAMBLER
So playing poker can be destroyer for the reckless players. It is as narcotic. If you taste it you will never give it up.
Oppositionist JONDI BAGHATURIA said that slot clubs must be closed. “ this clubs became a nest of criminals , which lose many Georgian families. It is impossible to verify this criminal, it is ruined for youths,”-BAGHATURIA.
With the initiative of government the tax of this business and its permission of license is growing. The license of slot clubs is 20.000 lari in a year and what about other financial capitals, on one apparatus tax is 800 lari, in a quarter.
The part of the companies of this business protests raising taxis of license. Guidance of well-known slot clubs net “777” said that taxis are very big and the number of clients is in a minimum quantity, because of today’s crisis. Also they said that tax on one apparatus is 150 lari, instead of 50 lari and the license cost in a year is 20.000 lari instead of 8000 lari.
By the information of ministry of finance the taxis grows because of changes in the codex of tax form, though it came in force in the current year.

FREZETI

Thousands of people died in the war between RUSSIA and GEORGIA. The number of refugees is very big in GEORGIA. Due to existing conditions government started building dwelling houses for refugees, who were forced to leave their houses. Exactly one of such villages is FREZETI, where the government built identical houses side by side for refugees.

There are 300 families of refugees and they have to live in terrible conditions. Their main problem is water. They have water to a tight schedule from 5o’clock to 7 o’clock and the worst of all is that they have one tap for several families and they can not manage all their chores. The tap is in the street and they have to drag water from the street to their houses with pails. “Several families have one tap, which is in the street and all of us have to drag water in buckets,”- said one of the refuges.  They want to have individual taps in all families, not to torture like that.

The  head of the village GELA BEGASHVILI said that company “CARE” is going to help them and arrange this problem. They are interested in this problem and are making solving plans and calculating how much water will be enough to provide all the families and the near future they will decide this problem.

In the village except this problem their  is another problem of dwelling-space. “we have not enough dwelling-space and there is mess all around in the house,”-said one of the refuges NATELA MAISURADZE.

Another problem is gas. They have limited quantity of gas, which is not enough for them. “ we can not use gas for heating , because pressure is very low,”-said one of the refuges.  About this the head of the village said that the government knew this problem and they were waiting for their help.

There is one school in FREZETI, which is far from village and it is difficult to walk their, because of the bad road. “ the road is very bad and there is terrible dirt and it is very had to go there everyday,”-said the teacher of the school LILI BALKHAMISHVILI, 70. The  head teacher DAVID MIDELASHVILI said that they did not have enough school-books at the beginning of the school year. So it was impossible to learn. “ One businessman, whose name I can not remember, helped us and brought school-books for our children,”-said MIDELASHVILI. What about heating fortunately the school has enough it.

One of their problems is bad road. They said that that’s why they have not frequent guest. also their problem is earth, which is very bad for crops and they can not grow fruit and vegetables. “ the earth is bad and everything we grow is damaged,”-said one of the refuges.

The head of the village said that there are coming people from nongovernmental organizations and helps them. “there is a UNITED NETIONS ORGANIZATION program and they come once a month and bring us food-supply.

What about another things, the ambulance is in TSEROVANI, which is located in eastern Georgia, in concrete in region of MTSKHETA,18km from FREZETI and refugees are content with their work. “when ever we call they, always come,”-said one of the refugees. Sometimes their comes police for their safety. What about shopping centre, thee are private small shops and what about electricity? sometimes they have power cuts.

.                         The “Transparency International – Georgia” that is a member of an Advisory Council of the Coalition “for IDPs rights”, has implemented monitoring in 14 places of the compact settlement of IDPs, who were forced to leave their homes during the war in August. http://www.idp.ge/geo/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=38:-4-&catid=52&Itemid=71&lang=en

According to “Transparency International – Georgia” most part from 130 000 IDPs, who left their homes in August 2008, returned back. However, according to actual information about 25 000 people are still refugees.

As the migration management’s mane specialist MIKHEIL TEDORADZE said exists small projects for FREZETI, Which processing is going. For example it is going to working about the water problems with province. “it is difficult to say before hand, when it will be done , but we are trying everything,”-said TEDORADZE.

He also talked about bad harvest and he said that refugees in FREZETI have not given out lands yet, but we hope that this problem will arrange soon. What about problem of gas low pressure it must be verified in gas company. “we have not received the advertisement from FREZETI about this problem, because of  I can not speak about this,”-said TEDORADZE.

I offer you some facts and I hope it will help you to imagine their conditions.
